CDCP

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal government program designed to cover most dental care treatment costs for Canadians who qualify. If you’ve applied and been approved for coverage, you will pay less for treatments at our clinic.

If you have a family net income of less than $90,000, and do not already have access to dental insurance, you could qualify for coverage.

You must be a Canadian resident, and you must have filed a tax return in the previous year. If you qualify and you’re at least 65 years old or less than 18 years old, you can apply now. If you’re between 18 and 64 years old, you’ll be able to apply in 2025.

What treatments does the CDCP cover?

The plan will cover the vast majority of standard dental treatments including cleaning, sealants, and fluoride; diagnostic services such as X-rays; restorative services including fillings; root canal treatments; complete and partial removable dentures; and oral surgery services such as extractions.
